Preheat oven to 165 degrees celsius and grease a loaf pan.
Step 2 of 5
In a large bowl, beat the oil and golden syrup together with a whisk. Add eggs and beat well, then whisk in the mashed bananas and milk.

Add the baking soda, vanilla, salt and cinnamon, and whisk to blend. Then stir in the flour, just until combined with a big spoon.

Pour the batter into your greased tin loaf and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.

Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the loaf pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and let cool for 20 minutes before slicing.
