  • 150grams sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1teaspoons vanilla
  • 300grams self raising flour
  • 100milliliter milk
  • 1teaspoons baking powder
  • 1teaspoons cinnamon
  • 120grams butter melted

Very easy and light banana bread.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Preheat oven to 170* fan forced, 150* no fan.

Step 2 of 5

In a bowl put the bananas and using a fork mash it up. Add milk, butter, eggs, vanilla and sugar till combined.

Step 3 of 5

Add all dry ingredients and mix till all combined. Decorate with a half sliced banana lengthways.

Step 4 of 5

Spoon into a pre lined loaf tin and bake for 35 mins without opening the door then do a prick test to see if it's cooked if not put for another 10 mins. (If you find the top is browning to fast put a piece of foil loosely quickly over the top) When done rest in loaf tin for 5 mins then transfer to a cooling rack till it's cool then remove and cut and eat.

Store in airtight container for 3 days for in the freezer for 3 months individually wrapped.
