- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
- 2teaspoons soy sauce
- 2teaspoons rice wine vinegar
- 165milliliter coconut milk
- 1tablespoons red curry paste
- 1/2teaspoons caster sugar
- unsalted roasted peanuts, chopped (to serve)
- cooked chicken skewers (to serve)
- snow peas, blanched (to serve)
- celery, sliced (to serve)
Description
Learn how to make a flavoursome satay sauce with only a few pantry staples. It's perfect as a dipping sauce or spooned over chicken skewers.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Place peanut butter, soy, vinegar, milk, paste, sugar and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stirring, over medium heat. Simmer for 3 minutes or until slightly thickened. If sauce is too thick, adjust consistency with a little water.
Step 2 of 2
Transfer sauce to a serving dish and sprinkle with peanuts. Serve with chicken skewers, snow peas and celery.
