Let your air-fryer start the party with these crunchy chicken fingers, crumbed in sesame seeds and served with a tonkatsu sauce.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Combine flour and curry powder on a plate. Season with pepper. Place egg and breadcrumb in separate shallow dishes.
Step 2 of 4
Using one piece of chicken at a time, coat chicken in flour mixture, shaking off excess. Dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to let the crumb coat set.
Step 3 of 4
Preheat air fryer to 180°C for 2 minutes. Arrange half the chicken, in a single layer, in the air-fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Repeat with remaining chicken.
Step 4 of 4
Combine sesame seeds, poppy seeds and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Place chicken on a serving plate. Sprinkle with sesame mixture and coriander leaves. Serve with sauce.
