  • 3/4 cup MasterFoods soy, honey & garlic marinade
  • 115grams Continental oriental fried rice
  • 2tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 250grams Woolworths COOK stir fry mix rainbow vegetables
  • 1/4 bunch Woolworths coriander, leaves picked
  • 1 long red chilli, thinly sliced

Description

These wallet-friendly honey-soy chicken drumsticks are finger-licking good! Paired with a speedy fried rice, these delicious drumsticks will become a weekly favourite.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced. Line a 24x32cm tray with baking paper. In a large bowl, coat chicken with marinade. Place chicken, in a single layer, on prepared tray. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and the marinade is sticky and caramelised.

Step 2 of 4

In a large frying pan, combine rice and 3/4 cup water. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the rice to absorb the water.

Step 3 of 4

Add oil and season. Add stir-fry mix to pan. Continue cooking, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Stir mixture frequently until the vegetables begin to soften.

Step 4 of 4

Serve drumsticks with fried rice and sprinkled with coriander and chilli.
