  • 350grams Woolworths market value meatballs
  • 500grams Macro Organic bolognese chunky pasta sauce
  • 50grams Woolworths unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic , crushed
  • 1teaspoons Woolworths dried mixed herbs
  • 4 Woolworths pane di casa white rolls
  • 60grams baby rocket leaves

Description

Combine tender, juicy meatballs with garlicky, cheesy bread for a comforting, low-cost meal. These mouth-watering meatball subs will wow on any occasion.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, for 5 minutes or until browned. Add pasta sauce and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until meatballs are cooked and sauce has reduced slightly.

Meanwhile, preheat an oven grill to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Grease and line a baking tray with baking paper. Combine butter, garlic and herbs in a bowl. Cut rolls in half. Brush cut side with butter and place on prepared tray. Grill for 5 minutes or until rolls are golden-brown.

Step 3 of 3

Place toasted rolls on plates. Top with meatballs and sauce. Serve sprinkled with rocket.
