  • 1kilograms chicken, breast, legs and thighs, bone in, skin on
  • 125grams gluten-free plain flour
  • 65grams cornflour
  • 1teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1teaspoons oregano
  • 1/2teaspoons chilli powder
  • 1/2teaspoons black pepper
  • 2teaspoons salt
  • 1teaspoons spray oil

Description

This light and crispy air fryer chicken is gluten free and requires practically no oil to cook.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Mix the buttermilk and chicken in a bowl, cover with clingfilm and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Step 2 of 3

Place the flour, cornflour, smoked paprika, oregano, chilli powder, black pepper and salt in a bowl and whisk to combine. Spread out on a plate. Take the chicken pieces, shake off excess buttermilk and dip into the coating, covering each side.

Step 3 of 3

Place the chicken in the air fryer and cook at 200°C for for 22-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until crisp, golden and cooked through.
