- 500grams Woolworths Australian beer batter steakhouse chips
- 4 hot dog rolls
- 4 Woolworths thin beef sausages
- 450grams Woolworths smokey BBQ slaw kit
- 1/3 cup Heinz mild American mustard
- 1/3 cup Heinz tomato ketchup
Description
These super simple, flavour-packed American-style sausage subs are perfect for busy weeknights.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Preheat oven to 240°C/ 220°C fan-forced. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Spread chips on tray and bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway, or until golden. Add rolls in the last 5 minutes of cooking time and cook until lightly toasted.
Step 2 of 4
Meanwhile, heat a barbecue grill or chargrill pan on medium heat. Cook sausages for 10-12 minutes, turning, until cooked.
Step 3 of 4
Empty slaw kit and sachets into a large bowl and toss to combine.
Step 4 of 4
Cut rolls in half horizontally, taking care not to cut all the way through. Top with slaw and sausages. Drizzle over mustard and tomato sauce. Serve with chips and remaining slaw.
