Description

A juicy Aussie-style beef burger makes a perfect budget-friendly weeknight meal.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Heat 2 tsp oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook beef patties for 14 minutes, turning occasionally, or until cooked through.

Step 2 of 4

Meanwhile, preheat grill on high. Place rolls, cut-side up, on a large baking tray. Toast under grill for 1-2 minutes or until lightly toasted.

Step 3 of 4

Wipe the frying pan clean. Heat half of the remaining oil in the frying pan over medium-high heat. Crack 2 eggs into pan and cook for 2-3 minutes for a soft yolk or until cooked to your liking. Repeat with remaining oil and eggs.

Step 4 of 4

Top roll bases with lettuce, beetroot, patties and eggs. Drizzle with sauce. Top with lids. Serve.
