  • 50grams unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 150grams parmesan, finely grated
  • 1kilograms baby potatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup honey, heated
  • 1/2 punnet chives, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Description

These crunchy, flavoursome parmesan-crusted potatoes make the perfect co-star to any festive main dish. Drizzle with honey and serve with sour cream for a delicious flavour combo.

You can skip the scoring of the base of the potatoes, if you prefer.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2 of 3

In a large bowl, combine butter, garlic and parmesan. Carefully score a cross-hatch pattern into the cut-side of each potato half. (See tip.) Spread butter mixture on cut-side of potatoes.

Step 3 of 3

Place potatoes, cut-side down, on tray. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with chives. Serve with sour cream.
