Description

As thick and creamy as peanut butter, this easy spiced biscuit butter makes a delicious toast spread. Simply double the ingredients to impress loved ones with a delightful homemade edible treat.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Place biscuits in a large reusable bag. Using a rolling pin, roughly crush biscuits, leaving a few chunky pieces. Transfer to a bowl.

Heat butter in a saucepan over low heat for 4 minutes or until melted.

Step 3 of 5

Add evaporated milk, condensed milk and oil to pan. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until heated through.

Step 4 of 5

Pour milk mixture over cookie crumb, stirring, for 2 minutes or until mixture is well combined and slightly thickened.

Step 5 of 5

Spoon mixture into sterilised 2 x 2-cup-capacity glass jars. Allow to cool completely. Seal lid. Tie with a ribbon or twine and attach a spoon and gift tag.
