  • 200milliliter cream
  • 1 small red chilli, deseeded, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1tablespoons fresh herbs
  • 150grams leftover cooked prawns, shelled
  • 1tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 250grams linguine

Method

Step 1 of 3

Cook pasta according to packet instructions. Drain, return to pan and add 1/4 cup of cream, toss well and keep warm.

Step 2 of 3

Meanwhile, heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic and chilli (if using) and stir for 30 seconds. Add prawns and remaining cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until prawns are reheated.

Step 3 of 3

Pour sauce over pasta and add herbs. Season to taste, toss to coat and serve immediately.
