- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and finely sliced
- 500grams large green prawns, peeled and roughly chopped
- 1 bunch fresh basil, leaves picked and stalks finely chopped
- 1 fresh red chilli, deseeded and finely sliced
- 2 handful cherry tomatoes, roughly chopped
- 1 pinch pepper (for seasoning)
- 480grams dried spaghetti
- 3tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pinch sea salt ground (to taste)

Method
Step 1 of 3
Place a large saucepan over a medium heat and add a splash of olive oil.
Step 2 of 3
Add the sliced garlic, chilli and basil stalks and fry until lightly browned. Add the chopped prawns and fry for a minute or two, or until cooked through. Add the chopped cherry tomatoes, season to taste with salt and pepper, and simmer gently while you cook the pasta.
Step 3 of 3
Cook the spaghetti according to packet instructions. Drain and toss with the prawns and tomatoes. Tear basil leaves and sprinkle over, then serve. This simple pasta dish is a real crowd pleaser and can be knocked together in next to no time – bonus!
