- 1kilograms green prawns
- 250grams linguine pasta
- 3 lemons
- 1/2 cup chick or veg stock
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 4tablespoons butter
- 6 cloves minced garlic
- 2tablespoons capers
- 2 small spring onions
- 1 fresh chilli (or to taste)
- 1/4teaspoons salt and pepper (or to taste)
- 1 parsley
Description
A zingy seafood pasta that is super quick, yet impressive!
Method
Step 1 of 7
Peel and devein prawns. Add garlic and set aside.
Step 2 of 7
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add linguine and cook until al dente; drain and set aside.
Step 3 of 7
In pan, add 2 tablespoons of butter (and a bit of oil to stop the butter burning) and the prawn and garlic mix. Cook on medium heat until prawns are almost cooked. Take off pan and set aside.

Heat the pan you used for prawns to medium-hot add wine, chicken stock, lemon juice, rest of butter, spring onions, capers, chilli, salt, and pepper. Cook until alcohol as cooked off. Taste test. Add more butter, lemon or chilli as required to get right taste and texture.

Prep: Juice lemons and set juice aside. Chop your spring onion, parsley and chilli. Have everything ready to go next to the pan.

Add back in to the pan the prawns and linguine. Quickly tossing to coat the pasta and finish off prawns. Remove from heat.
Step 7 of 7
Serve in bowl and add parsley to finish.
