- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 400grams squid tubes
- 1 small red chilli, finely chopped
- 1 brown onion, finely chopped
- 2tablespoons capers in salt, rinsed
- 400grams fettucine
- 1/3 cup semi-dried tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 6 black olives, pitted, halved
- 2tablespoons olive oil
- 6 green olives, pitted, halved
- 4 anchovies, finely chopped
- 540grams arrabiata thick & chunky pasta sauce

Method
Step 1 of 3
Cut squid steaks in half lengthways then slice. Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Add chilli. Cook over medium heat for 2 minutes.
Step 2 of 3
Add squid and white wine and cook for 5 minutes, or until liquid has evaporated. Stir in olives, tomatoes, capers and pasta sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 3 of 3
Meanwhile, cook fettucine following packet directions. Drain the pasta and return to the pan. Add the sauce and toss to combine. Serve.
