- 250grams good-quality dark chocolate, chopped
- 125milliliter pure cream
- 2tablespoons orange juiced
- 2tablespoons dutch cocoa, sifted
- 150grams choc frosting
Method
Step 1 of 3
Place chocolate in a medium bowl. Place cream in a small saucepan over medium heat and bring to the boil. Pour immediately over chopped chocolate and stir until melted and smooth. Stir in liqueur (or orange juice, if using). Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until firm enough to roll.
Step 2 of 3
Place cocoa in a small bowl. Using your hands, roll 2 tsp of the chocolate mixture into a ball, roll in the cocoa to coat and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Repeat with remaining mixture. Place in freezer for 10 minutes or until firm.
Step 3 of 3
Prepare Dr. Oetker Easy Choc as per packet instructions. Spoon over each truffle and top each with a silver cachous (you may like to alternate between milk choc and white choc). Allow to stand for 15 minutes or until set. Serve or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
