Description
Learn how to make pizza dough from scratch. This traditional recipe requires just five ingredients.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat oven to 240°C. Grease 2 x 30cm pizza trays. Whisk 3/4 cup warm water, yeast, sugar and salt in a jug and stand in a warm place for 10 minutes or until frothy.
Step 2 of 3
Place flour into a large bowl. Add yeast mixture and 1 tbs of the oil and stir until a soft dough forms. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes or until smooth. Place dough into a large greased bowl, cover and stand in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
Step 3 of 3
Divide dough in half and roughly roll each portion out until large enough to fit trays. Brush with remaining oil. Bake for 15 minutes or until dough is golden and crisp.
