Description
A cheesy, warm and comforting potato side dish that you can prepare ahead of time.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. In a large sauce pan, boil the milk, cream, garlic and potatoes. Allow to cool slightly. Remove the garlic cloves.
Step 2 of 3
Using a medium bowl, mix all the cheese together. In a slightly greased baking dish, using a slotted spoon assemble the potatoes in a single layer. Top with some of the cream and cheese mixture. Repeat until you have used up all the potato.
Step 3 of 3
Cover with foil and cook in the oven for 1 hour. Remove the foil and cook for another 30 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through.
