  • 1/4teaspoons dried chilli flakes
  • 1teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 lemon, 1.5 tsp rind finely grated
  • 400grams simply steam vegetables with herb butter
  • 4 scotch fillet steaks (approx. 150g each)
  • 2teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2teaspoons flaked salt

Step 1 of 3

Remove steaks from the fridge 10 minutes prior to cooking.

Step 2 of 3

Place paprika, salt, lemon rind and chilli in a small bowl. Mix together well by rubbing with your fingertips. Set aside. Heat a heavy based non-stick frying pan or char grill over medium-high heat. Brush both sides of the steaks with oil. Cook for 3 minutes each side, or until done to your liking. Transfer to a warm plate and sprinkle both sides with paprika salt. Cover with foil and leave to rest for 2 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook vegetables as per packet instructions. Toss to coat vegetables with herb butter. Serve steaks with vegetables.
