- 400grams turkey mince
- 1 medium red onion, peeled and diced
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled and diced
- 1tablespoons canola oil
- 1 medium carrot, peeled and diced
- 1 medium egg, free range
- 40grams oats
- 4 slices spicy cheese
- 4tablespoons chutney
- 4 brioche buns
Description
These savoury burgers are simple and lightly seasoned.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Heat up a pan with the canola oil to a medium heat and fry the onion, carrot and garlic for 7 minutes and remove from the heat.
Step 2 of 4
Once the veg has cooled, mix it in a bowl with the turkey mince, oats, and egg and combine fully. Divide and shape the mixture into 4 burger patties.
Step 3 of 4
Now sear the burgers on the pan for 2 minutes on each side and remove from the heat. Place the burgers on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
Step 4 of 4
Toast the buns for 2 minutes and serve the burgers on them with relish and cheese.
