  • 1/4 cup basil, chopped (for salad)
  • 2tablespoons flat-leaf parsley, chopped (for salad)
  • 1tablespoons lemon juice (for salad)
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper (to taste for salad)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, coarsely grated (for salad)
  • 2 cup salad leaves (for salad)
  • 230grams marinated artichoke heart, drained for salad
  • 2tablespoons olive oil (and save 1 tbs olive oil for salad)
  • 1tablespoons rosemary, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 4 rump steaks, trimmed of fat

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat a grill plate or barbecue grill to high.

Step 2 of 3

In a small bowl, mix rosemary, garlic and olive oil. Rub into steaks using your fingers. Cook steaks for 4 minutes each side, or until done to your liking. Remove from heat, cover with foil and set aside to rest for 5-10 minutes.

Step 3 of 3

To make the salad, mix all ingredients. Serve steak with salad and your favourite steamed vegetables.
