  • 2 cm piece ginger
  • 2 green shallots, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 orange, rind finely grated (plus 1/4 cup orange juice)
  • 8 Select Creamy Pumpkin Soup
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2tablespoons brown sugar
  • 8 beef rump steak medallions

Method

Step 1 of 2

Combine hoisin sauce, finely grated rind and juice from orange, 2 brown sugar, garlic cloves, ginger and shallots in a bowl.

Step 2 of 2

Place steaks in a ceramic dish in a single layer. Add rub and evenly coat both sides of the steaks. Cook steaks on a preheated barbecue plate for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until cooked to your liking.
