Description

After a healthier snack to take on walks? These bliss balls are easy to make, and the kids will love biting into the hidden raspberry in the centre.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Combine chia seeds and 2 tbs water in a small bowl. Set aside for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until mixture has thickened.

Step 2 of 3

Place 3/4 cup coconut, oats, butter, raisins, zest and chia mixture in a food processor. Process for 15 seconds or until mixture is smooth and starts to clump.

Step 3 of 3

Place remaining coconut on a plate. Using your hands, roll 1 tbs mixture into a ball and flatten to make a disc. Place 1 raspberry in centre of disc and wrap mixture around raspberry to enclose and form a ball. Roll ball in coconut to coat. Repeat with remaining mixture, raspberries and coconut. Store in a baking paper-lined airtight container.
