Description

No-yeast bagels are the ultimate cheat, with just a handful of ingredients and no kneading or proving time.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Pre-heat the oven to 200°C. Add the flour, salt and yoghurt to a large bowl and mix to form a dough.

Step 2 of 3

Tip the dough on to a lightly floured work surface. Roll out into a large, thick disc. Cut the dough into 4 pieces. Roll each piece into a long log and join the ends to make a ring.

Step 3 of 3

Place the bagels on a lined baking tray, brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
