  • 1tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 avocado
  • 1 small banana

Method

Step 1 of 4

Pour the almond or hazelnut milk into a small pan and sprinkle in the cacao nibs. Warm gently, bring to a simmer, then remove from the heat. Leave to cool slightly, stir in the chia seeds, then leave to cool completely.

Step 2 of 4

Tip the avocado and banana into the bowl of a food processor and blend well with a pinch of salt. Add the cooled milk mixture to the bowl and whizz again, to break up the cacao nibs a little but not so that they are smooth.

Step 3 of 4

Using a small plastic funnel or a funnel made from parchment paper, pour the mixture into eight 60ml spherical ice lolly moulds. Alternatively, try ice-lolly moulds or large ice-cube trays. Place in the freezer.

Step 4 of 4

When the bites are half-frozen, insert a lolly stick or cake pop stick into each one. Return to the freezer and freeze until hard.
