- 1tablespoons olive oil
- 50grams bbq rub
- 1.75kilograms beef brisket, trimmed, cut into 4 pieces
- 250milliliter water
Description
This pressure cooker brisket is so juicy and tender, using only 4 ingredients makes for a prefect and easy family meal.
Instruction tip
Be sure to slice the cooked brisket against the grain to achieve the most tender slices of meat.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Heat a pressure cooker to high heat adding in the oil to coat the bottom. Season and rub the pieces of beef, sear and brown on all sides for 5 minutes.
Step 2 of 4
Pour the water into the pressure cooker and attach the lid tightly onto the pressure cooker, cook on high heat for 60 minutes.
Step 3 of 4
After 60 minutes of cooking turn the pressure cooker off and allow the pressure to release naturally for 20-30 minutes.
Step 4 of 4
Carefully remove the lid, place the brisket onto a cutting board to slice, arranging the brisket onto a platter, spoon any leftover liquid onto the brisket before serving hot.
