Cook beef ribs according to packet instructions.

Place milk and water in a deep saucepan and place over high heat. Bring mixture to the boil. Slowly add polenta in a steady stream, stirring constantly until mixture comes to the boil. Continue stirring for 5 minutes or until a thick, smooth mixture forms. Stir in butter and parmesan. Season with salt and pepper.
