  • 300grams medium prawns, shells removed, deveined
  • 1/2 red onion, peeled, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 capsicum, veins and deseeded, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 mango, peeled, diced into bite sized pieces.
  • 5milliliter non-stick cooking spray
  • 2 stalks spring onions, sliced

Description

Try out these unique prawn skewers for your next BBQ, with sweet and spicy flavour in every tasty bite.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Mix the olive oil, garlic chilli sauce and maple syrup together in a bowl, before coating the prawns, vegetables and mangoes in the sauce.

Step 2 of 5

Allow all the ingredients to marinade for 1 hour, while soaking the wooden skewers in water.

Step 3 of 5

Arrange the prawns, vegetables and mangos onto the skewers without overcrowding them. Preheat the grill to medium heat for 10 minutes.

Step 4 of 5

Spray the grill with non-stick cooking spray before adding the skewers to the grill. Cook on each side for 2 minutes brushing the skewers with any leftover garlic chilli sauce until charred.

Step 5 of 5

Remove the skewers from the grill before sprinkling with sliced spring onions.
