- 1 free range egg
- 2tablespoons vegetable oil
- 95grams McCormick Japanese style karaage chicken recipe base
- 500grams chicken tenderloins
- 5milliliter olive oil cooking spray
- 450grams microwave jasmine rice
- 1 carrot, peeled into ribbons
- 1 Lebanese cucumber, peeled into ribbons
- 2tablespoons ginger & sesame salad dressing
- 1 spring onion, trimmed, thinly sliced
Description
This quick and delicious air fryer recipe is perfect for an easy dinner. Think golden, crunchy, juicy chicken, fresh veggie ribbons and fluffy rice.
Instruction tip
Tip:To oven bake: Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Prepare chicken, following step 2. Place chicken on tray and spray with oil. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Preheat air fryer to 185°C. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
Step 2 of 4
Place egg and oil in a shallow bowl and whisk to combine. Place recipe base on a plate. Working with 1 piece of chicken at a time, dip in egg mixture then coat in recipe base. Place on tray.
Step 3 of 4
Place half of the chicken in air-fryer basket. Spray with oil. Cook for 12 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Repeat with remaining chicken and oil spray.
Step 4 of 4
Heat rice according to packet instructions. Divide rice, carrot, cucumber and chicken among plates. Drizzle veg with dressing, sprinkle over onion and serve.
