  • 2 1/2tablespoons teriyaki marinade
  • 1 avocado, sliced (for serving)
  • 1/4 red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 carrots, peeled, shredded
  • green onions, thinly sliced (to serve)
  • 1 lime, juiced (plus extra wedges, to serve)
  • spicy mayonnaise (to serve)
  • 400grams beef sizzle steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 8 small soft flour tacos, warmed (for serving)

Method

Step 1 of 3

Season sizzle steak strips with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large wok over high heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add beef and cook for 1 minute, add the teriyaki marinade half way through cooking. Set aside to rest.

Step 2 of 3

In a bowl combine cabbage, carrot, and lime juice. Toss to combine.

Step 3 of 3

Build the taco using the cabbage and carrot mix, slices of avocado, the marinated beef and top with spicy mayonnaise and green onions. Serve with lime wedges.
