Description

Figs roasted in honey and crunchy pistachios make this porridge extra special.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C. Place the figs on a baking sheet and drizzle with a tablespoon of honey. Roast for 8-10 minutes until lightly caramelised.

Step 2 of 3

Heat the milk and oats in a large saucepan on medium, stirring, for 4-5 minutes until thickened. Stir in the vanilla and honey.

Step 3 of 3

Serve the porridge in bowls topped with honeyed figs and chopped pistachios.
