  • 2 medium banana, one for garnish, peel and mash one
  • 70grams plain flour
  • 50grams macadamia nuts, crushed, reserve small portion for garnish
  • 1/2teaspoons allspice
  • 4 strawberries (to garnish)
  • 2teaspoons honey (to garnish)

Method

Step 1 of 5

Combine eggs, mashed banana, nuts and allspice together gradually adding the flour last.

Step 2 of 5

Divide the mixture into about 6 to 8 fritters.

Step 3 of 5

Heat up a pan suitable to shallow fry and cook for 6 minutes while turning regularly.

Step 4 of 5

Remove from the oil and place on a plate with some kitchen paper to remove some excess oil before serving.

Step 5 of 5

Garnish with sliced strawberries, bananas and nuts and drizzle with honey.
