  • 2 cups fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/3 coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1tablespoons kecap manis
  • 1teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup vegetable oil (for shallow frying)

Method

Step 1 of 3

Combine breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, coriander, salt and pepper in a bowl. Whisk egg and kecap manis together in a shallow bowl. Place flour on a plate.

Step 2 of 3

Lightly dust cutlets with flour, dip into egg mixture and coat well with breadcrumbs. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 3 of 3

Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat and cook cutlets for 2-3 minutes each side until golden. Remove from pan. Serve with a green salad.
