  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 75grams butter, melted
  • 2tablespoons milk

Description

A delicious and easy sweet treat, this chocolate coconut slice is made from ingredients you probably already have in the house.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Preheat oven to 180.C. Lightly grease a slice tin.

Step 2 of 4

For the base, combine sifted flour, sugar, and desiccated coconut. Add the 125g melted butter and mix well. Press into slice tin. Bake for 20 minutes.

Step 3 of 4

For the chocolate coconut icing, sift the icing sugar and cocoa in a bowl and add the shredded coconut (or use desiccated coconut if that's all you have), melted butter and milk. Spread onto slice.

Step 4 of 4

Refrigerate until the chocolate coconut slice has set and then cut into squares.
