  • 1tablespoons honey

Description

Indulge in a morning treat with these decadent chocolate and espresso pancakes, a perfect blend of sweet and bittersweet flavours that will delight tastebuds and warm hearts.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Open pancake shaker and add coffee powder and half of the chocolate, then make pancake batter according to shaker instructions.

Step 2 of 3

Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Grease with a little butter. Spoon 1/4 cup batter into pan, spreading to form a 10cm round. Repeat to make another pancake. Cook for 3 minutes or until bubbles start to form on top. Flip and cook for 1 minute or until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and keep warm. Repeat with remaining batter to make 8 pancakes in total, greasing pan with a little butter, if necessary.

Step 3 of 3

Divide pancakes among plates. Top each with a little of the remaining butter and remaining chocolate. Drizzle with honey. Serve.
