- 1 baguette, sliced diagonally into 1.5cm-thick slices

- 125grams blackberries
- 125grams blueberries
- 1/4 bunch thyme, leaves picked
- 1/4 cup Woolworths maple syrup

Description
Make the most of in-season berries with these gorgeous mini French toasts. A handful of blueberries and blackberries make this treat a sight to behold.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Preheat oven to 100°C/80°C fan-forced and line a large baking tray with baking paper. Combine milk, eggs, cup sugar and half of the cinnamon in a large, shallow dish. Add bread and soak for 5 minutes, turning occasionally.
Step 2 of 4
Meanwhile, combine remaining sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl. Set aside until required.
Step 3 of 4
Heat a large frying pan over medium heat, then melt one-quarter of the butter. Cook one-quarter of the bread for 4 minutes, turning halfway through, or until golden on both sides. Remove bread from pan and add to cinnamon sugar, tossing to coat. Transfer to tray and keep warm in oven. Repeat with remaining butter, bread and cinnamon sugar.

Dollop toasts with creme fraiche, top with berries, scatter over thyme and serve drizzled with maple syrup.
