  • 2 JAZZ apples
  • 10grams unsalted butter
  • 250grams Woolworths spreadable cream cheese
  • 1/2teaspoons vanilla bean paste
  • 1tablespoons caster sugar
  • 1/4 cup caramel spread

Description

Creamy cheesecake dip is a must-try. Serve it on a dessert platter with strawberries, apple slices and sweet crackers or dollop it on French toast.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Core and dice half an apple. Melt butter in a medium non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add diced apple, then cook for 5 minutes, stirring, or until lightly brown. Remove pan from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

Step 2 of 3

Using a handheld electric mixer, beat cream cheese, vanilla and sugar in a medium bowl until mixture is smooth and fluffy.

Step 3 of 3

Spoon half of the cream cheese mixture into a small bowl, then top with half each of the caramel and diced apple mixture. Spoon over remaining cream cheese mixture, then top with remaining caramel and diced apple mixture. Core remaining apples and thinly slice, then serve with dip.
