Description

Nothing beats cookie butter. Five ingredients is all you need for this delicious biscuit spread recipe – eat it straight from the jar, spread on toast or gift to friends.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Place cookies in a food processor and process for 1 minute or until very fine crumbs form. Transfer to a bowl.

Step 2 of 4

Heat butter in a small saucepan over low heat for 2 minutes or until melted. Add remaining ingredients and 1 tbs water and cook, stirring, for a further 1 minute or until heated through.

Step 3 of 4

Pour milk mixture over cookie crumb, stirring, for 1 minute or until butter is smooth and slightly thick. Add another 1 tbs water, if cookie butter is too thick.

Step 4 of 4

Spoon mixture into a sterilised 2-cup capacity glass jar. Store at room temperature for up to 1 week.
