- 45grams unsalted butter
- 250grams choc chip cookies
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1tablespoons coconut oil
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
Description
Nothing beats cookie butter. Five ingredients is all you need for this delicious biscuit spread recipe – eat it straight from the jar, spread on toast or gift to friends.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Place cookies in a food processor and process for 1 minute or until very fine crumbs form. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 2 of 4
Heat butter in a small saucepan over low heat for 2 minutes or until melted. Add remaining ingredients and 1 tbs water and cook, stirring, for a further 1 minute or until heated through.
Step 3 of 4
Pour milk mixture over cookie crumb, stirring, for 1 minute or until butter is smooth and slightly thick. Add another 1 tbs water, if cookie butter is too thick.
Step 4 of 4
Spoon mixture into a sterilised 2-cup capacity glass jar. Store at room temperature for up to 1 week.
