  • 200grams plain flour
  • 1teaspoons turmeric powder
  • 1teaspoons cumin
  • 1teaspoons garam masala
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch cracked black pepper

Description

A simple and fast capsicum snack with delicate Indian seasoning.

Method

Step 1 of 6

In a bowl, combine the flour with the spices and then add the milk to make a sticky batter.

Step 2 of 6

Heat up a shallow frier to 180°C/160°C fan-forced.

Step 3 of 6

Dip the sliced capsicum into the milk and then cover evenly with the spiced flour.

Step 4 of 6

Place the battered capsicum into the shallow frier and cook for 6 minutes or until the batter is nicely browned.

Step 5 of 6

Carefully remove the pakoras from the oil and place on a plate with some kitchen paper to remove excess oil.

Step 6 of 6

Serve with a choice of condiments.
