- 5 medium apples, cored and chopped
- 300grams brown sugar
- 100grams raisins
- 3/4 cup white vinegar
- 1teaspoons allspice
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 medium lemon, juiced and zested
- 1tablespoons sesame oil

Method
Step 1 of 6
Heat up a saucepan to a medium heat and add the sesame oil to the pan.
Step 2 of 6
Fry the apples and raisins for 2 minutes.
Step 3 of 6
Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to the boil for 2 minutes.
Step 4 of 6
Reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 1 hour stirring occasionally.
Step 5 of 6
Prepare a suitable sealable container by placing it in boiling water to sterilise it and allow to cool.

Remove the chutney from the heat and allow to cool before placing into the storage container in the fridge overnight before using.
