  • 1tablespoons lemon juice
  • 300grams sugar

Method

Step 1 of 6

Heat up all ingredients in a pot on a medium heat for 5 minutes while stirring until the sugar melts.

Step 2 of 6

While its still cooking, use a potato masher and break the juice from all the grapes and cook for a further 5 minutes.

Step 3 of 6

Remove from the heat and use a hand blender to break up the grapes fully.

Step 4 of 6

Place back on the heat and bring to a boil and allow to cook while mixing for 5 more minutes, skim any skin from the top also.

Step 5 of 6

Lower the heat and allow to simmer for 15 more minutes to thicken, until the jam reaches 105°C on a candy thermometer.

Step 6 of 6

Remove from the heat, allow to cool before transferring to a sterilised jar and store in the fridge.
