- 14grams coarsely ground coffee
- 250grams water, hot
Description
Enjoy better coffee at home with this simple method, your favourite beans and a French press.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Pour hot water into the French press and leave to stand for 1-2 minutes to pre-heat. Pour the water out.
Step 2 of 3
Add the coffee to the base of the French press and place on a weighing scales. Set a timer for 10 seconds and pour the water over in a steady stream. Leave to steep for 4 minutes.
Step 3 of 3
Plunge a spoon in 2-3 times. Remove the grounds on the surface with a spoon. Leave to cool for 5 minutes then plunge gradually - this should take 10 seconds. Decant the coffee into a jug and pour into cups.
