- 275grams chickpea flour, sifted
- 175grams icing sugar, sifted
- 2tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1teaspoons ground cardamom
- 100grams dark chocolate
- 1tablespoons pistachios, shelled, chopped

Description
This traditional Indian treat is delicious with rich cocoa and a dark chocolate topping.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Heat a dry pan on high heat and toast flaked almonds for 2-3 minutes, tossing to ensure they don't burn. Remove from the heat and chop finely.
Step 2 of 4
Melt the ghee in a large wok and tip in the chickpea flour. Cook, stirring all the time, for 20-25 minutes. Stir in the chopped almonds, remove from the heat and leave to cool slightly. Tip into a large bowl.
Step 3 of 4
Whisk the icing sugar, cocoa powder and cardamom powder together in a bowl and tip into the flour mix along with a couple of tablespoons of water. Knead to a smooth dough and leave to cool.
Step 4 of 4
Melt the dark chocolate in 30 second bursts in the microwave. Roll the mix into balls with your hands. Dip each ball in chocolate, sprinkle with chopped pistachios, leave to cool and serve.
