  • 1L water
  • 100grams caster sugar
  • 2 medium lemons, zested and chopped
  • 16 leaves basil

Description

A cold and refreshing herb infused green tea.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Heat up a large saucepan with the water.

Step 2 of 5

Add the teabags and sugar and allow to simmer until the sugar melts.

Step 3 of 5

Remove from the heat and add the chopped lemon and the basil leaves.

Step 4 of 5

Transfer to a large jug and store in the fridge overnight.

Step 5 of 5

Next day, sieve the iced tea from the jug into your serving glass with ice.
