- 500grams pizza dough balls
- 140grams pizza sauce
- 2/3 cup pizza cheese
- 20 slices pepperoni
- 160grams mix-a-mato mini tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 160grams bocconcini, torn
- 2 sprigs basil, leaves picked
Description
Ever cooked a pizza in a frying pan? Learn how to make an incredible tomato and salami pizza in the pan in 3 steps. Make it at home or around the campfire.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Place 1 dough ball in a greased 25cm round cast-iron frying pan. Stretch dough with fingers to cover base of pan. Cover pan with lid.
Step 2 of 3
Cook over indirect heat of a campfire for 2 minutes or until base is golden and puffed. Remove pan from heat. Carefully flip pizza base. Spread base with half of the sauce, then top with half each of the
pizza cheese, pepperoni, tomato and bocconcini.
Step 3 of 3
Cover with lid and cook for 4 minutes or until cheese has melted and base is crisp. Transfer pizza to a plate. Repeat with remaining dough, sauce, pizza cheese, pepperoni, tomato and bocconcini. Scatter pizzas with
basil. Cut into wedges. Serve.
