Description

Crisp pastry 'bandages' conceal a heart of gooey cheese just right for dipping with grissini and celery and apple batons. Crypt-ic!
Instruction tip
Swap tip:
Replace grissini sticks with carrot sticks for a healthier dipping choice.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2 of 3

Using a small sharp knife, cut pastry into 0.5cm strips. Wrap pastry around brie to resemble bandages. Place on prepared tray. Brush with egg. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until pastry is puffed and golden-brown.

Step 3 of 3

Place 2 dots of tomato sauce on brie, then top each with a slice of olive to resemble eyes. Serve with apple, celery and grissini sticks.
