Description
These creepy hot dogs make a perfect appetiser at any freaky feast this Halloween.
Method
Step 1 of 3
To shape the hot-dog fingers, use a small sharp knife to slice the two sides of a fingernail, then straight across the top. Next, make a slight curved slice for the bottom of the nail. Slice the thin ‘fingernail’ piece off the top. To make the knuckles, make a slit along the middle of the hot dog with two curved slits directly below and above. Then, halfway between the knuckle and nail, make 2 more curved slits. Add two more curved slits at the opposite end.
Step 2 of 3
Place hot dogs in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to the boil, turn off heat and leave in the saucepan for 3 minutes.
Step 3 of 3
To serve, smear buns with sauce and top with hot dogs. Drizzle with more sauce and serve.
