  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 2 pinot noir
  • 1/2 cup orange-flavoured liqueur
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 3 lemons

Description

Try this winter sangria recipe for a Spanish take on mulled wine. Pairing red wine with zesty orange and lemon and a little spice this drink is perfect for serving to family or friends.

Method

Step 1 of 1

Place orange juice and sugar in a deep saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to the boil. Add pinot noir, liqueur, cinnamon sticks and cloves, stirring until combined and mixture starts to simmer. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Remove spices and serve with fruit.
