Description

This elegant braised fennel side dish is delicious with roast chicken or pork.

Method

Step 1 of 2

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C. Slice each fennel bulb into 4-5 pieces and lay in a single layer in a large casserole dish.

Step 2 of 2

Pour over the oil, stock and wine, top with thyme sprigs and black pepper and cover with a lid or foil. Bake for 45 minutes, until completely tender.
