- 1 medium leek, diced

- 450grams peas, frozen or garden peas

Description
A classic French inspired side dish that brings extra flavour and texture to the humble pea.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Heat up a non-stick pot to a medium heat with the canola oil. Fry the bacon for 2 minutes until it starts to turn brown.
Step 2 of 2
Now add the diced leeks and fry for a further 8 minutes. Add the butter and peas and continue to fry and stir for another 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and use salt and pepper to taste.
